Old fashioned fruit cake treat!

This Christening cake has been under construction since November. I’m happy to have finished it for a real deadline. There have been layers involved similar to those techniques required in creative writing. Polishing involved several editing tasks; things seen and unseen. The proof of the pudding will be in the eating…

The baby it was made for is only six months older than the cake that was definitely designed with parents in mind. This fruit is laced with rum so will deliver a kick! I’m making healthier puffed rice nibbles for the little ones, fear not.

The daisies are edible and sweet indicative of the young life they represent. Yay!

My debut novel for New Adults is less palatable, maybe? My next writing recipe includes short stories. To make them palatable or tasty? That is the question.

Reality may well prioritise. I don’t want to induce sickness but good health.
