Mapping a Future

To avoid the scary path, I’m trusting God to lead me. Where are you going? People who love us ask this valid question out of concern. The answer should be taken seriously. Unlike my writing maps, where I can backtrack, in real life taking a wrong turn can have serious consequences. Travel is exciting but…Think hard before you wish to rewind like my protagonist, Grace.

Which way is the right way to go is the essential question? Ask a friend to help you decide about big trips and how to stay safe. Let a trusted person know your itinerary or even better travel with a pal. Stay regularly in touch with someone. Forethought is the key. Please, don’t just take off on a whim.

Make sure you have funds in place to draw upon if things go pear shaped. Avoid making yourself vulnerable by having a back up plan. That’s some advice to keep you from wandering around in the dark.

I took this on terra ferma when abroad by the sea, with a friend. The lights were attached to masts on boats, thus the reflection on the water. It was a beautiful place because I was safe. You have a safe road trip or journey, too.
