Many thanks to the Bookworm Girl an awesome book blogger who hosted me and the novel, What If I Go? here-
The questions were interesting and were great to reflect upon in my writer journey. Hopefully, I have inspired others to put pen to paper. The novel is aimed at empowering women.
For all those who ask, ..’but what can I do?’ over difficult circumstances or tragic events then my answer might just be, ‘Why not write about it?’
Raising awareness is sometimes all we can do to help traumatic situations. Signposting vulnerable people and victims to support organisations that deal with sensitive issues such as grooming and sexual exploitation is satisfying. At the end of the book there are pages dedicated to victims giving the contact details of helpful organisations for support.
After a stormy start the sun is shining on my novel. I am very happy to have had some valuable coverage on The Story Reading Ape’s Blog. Chris has been most generous to include me as his guest author. Authors, join me on this sociable book site? See my inclusion over the bank holiday, below-
Chris has made it easier for me to raise awareness of actual crime happening on the UK’s streets. Let’s disrupt the predatory grooming of young women by empowering them to spot the signs. I appreciate your help. See what I mean in local paper this weekend-
Readers, try downloading a book that Chris is promoting?

Join me to discuss the process of writing a thriller from inspiration to hard slog -The highs and lows of reining in 74,000 words to resemble a novel manuscript, based upon truth.
I look forward to making a connection with you and your readers and attempt to avoid spoilers! Trusting that a few avid readers will purchase a download.

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks.” Matthew 7:7
Today I was able to thank my writers’ club for sticking by me. This amazing small group listened to excerpts from ‘What If I Go?’ carefully feeding back the truth. That helped with making edits and kept me believing in the project.
So, I offered my thanks for their incredible inspiration to remain focused:) It was lovely to eat cake with these friends.
Trusting that a tasty slice of similar blessing comes your way in the days ahead.
‘Love, hope, fear, faith – these make humanity; These are its sign and note and character.’ Is a famous Robert Browning quote.
Read four chapters of “What If I Go?” for free on Amazon. Just click preview. Find out about Grace who wanted all of the above except fear, on visiting the UK. An empowering read that’s not for the faint hearted.
Have faith, please read on.
I’m so gtrateful to Kathi at Solstice Publishing and her team for putting my 74,000 words into ebook.
From tomorrow What If I Go? will be available to download.
Feedback on the Arc so far –
One reader found the story compelling. Another said it was a potentially good book with a decent storyline and interesting characters. Watch this space!
Where would authors be without such avid readers? Any more for any more?
New Adult reviewers and bloggers are welcome to a free Arc of ‘What If I Go?’ if they enjoy suspense. Then please don’t hesitate to get back to me.
I have taken on board the fact that I not only post frequently, but also reblog a great deal. It is tough not to share the great posts written by the bloggers I follow, and I want to continue doing …

I do hope this is me on my release day of student ebook at the end of January! Other writers might like this opportunity?
Not that I’m keen. Haha! Only 1 week to go.
