My thanks go to fellow author Magdel Roets from South Africa. I appreciate her time and care.
Her review said …’Polly White leaves us with the hope that there is always a way out and that turning back to the Lord God, trusting Him and leaving everything in His capable hands, is the way to total restoration. What If I Go is a story that has a distinct warning and a message of joy awaiting on the other side of trouble.’

Well, I’ve dodged the showers and gone down to vote. What a job the next government have to do!
Don’t forget to mark your cross…
Today I edited a short story. At the moment, I couldn’t write the news. Are we in for a shock tomorrow? We’ll soon see.

We are truly blessed.
Let’s continue to count our blessings.
Keep on keeping on.
I found this on Pinterest and agree whole heartily with the creator.
I am grateful for your time to help me spread the word on keeping safe. Please encourage summer reading for students. They matter. I wrote What If I Go? as a heads up on the signs of grooming and violent controlling behaviour. Let’s help stop the perpetrators?
I trust your bank holiday was fun and as productive like mine. See where I was made most welcome as a guest author here-
Our family cooked on the BBQ and did some healthy eating, mostly! This amazing book cover on an icing sheet was ordered online, when the book first came out. I sent some of that cake to a friend through the post. Unfortunately, there was no pattern remaining when it arrived so she was a little bamboozled! Haha! You can but try to spread the love.
It’s great fun. Please follow me and I’ll reciprocate.

This short story mirrors my own, What If I Go? It is suitable for a younger audience if you find my novel too challenging this will more subtly warn young adults onward of the dangers of taking hard drugs.
It also raises awareness of the sensitive topic of sexual exploitation within a short story.
The book is called ‘The Bigger Fish’ by Magdel Roets see
I highly recommend this empowering quick read. Happy Reading!
My heartfelt thanks for having me go to Lisa at-
She’s looking for more writers to contribute to her guest post. She also loves poetry so, if you are like me and need to find your readers then why don’t you check out her site below.
Unfortunately the sexual exploitation of girls like Grace in What If I Go? are based on true stories recently televised on the BBC in the UK. See this weeks Three Girls drama series and the newspaper report following the showing here:
Stay safe! Raise awareness.
For new writing to flourish, I’m currently reading credible fiction to emulate. That’s not classed as copying but I’m acknowledging strengths in other’s manuscripts. Completing reviews of these works will encourage those authors and help me become more aware of powerful writing techniques. Writers can help one another improve our craft through such collaboration. Do you wish to join me?
Have you any suggestions of good empowering books to improve my style?
Thanks for reading. Download my reasonably priced new adult suspense novel for an idea of where I’m coming from. See myBook.to/pollyjwhite
I appreciate your support as a newbie writer.
This Christening cake has been under construction since November. I’m happy to have finished it for a real deadline. There have been layers involved similar to those techniques required in creative writing. Polishing involved several editing tasks; things seen and unseen. The proof of the pudding will be in the eating…
The baby it was made for is only six months older than the cake that was definitely designed with parents in mind. This fruit is laced with rum so will deliver a kick! I’m making healthier puffed rice nibbles for the little ones, fear not.
The daisies are edible and sweet indicative of the young life they represent. Yay!
My debut novel for New Adults is less palatable, maybe? My next writing recipe includes short stories. To make them palatable or tasty? That is the question.
Reality may well prioritise. I don’t want to induce sickness but good health.
